On Sep. 16, 2021, Manitoba Public Health officials advised Goose Lake High School of at least one confirmed case of COVID-19 in the school on Sep. 8, 9 and 10, 2021. On Sep. 3, 2021, the Manitoba government announced it is recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a day of observance to encourage reflection and meaningful discussions about the impacts of residential schools. Schools and division facilities will be closed on September 30th. Please click on the link for the updated calendar.

On Thursday, Aug. 5, Manitoba Education released its Restoring Safe Schools plan for the fall of 2021. Details may be found by clicking on the above link.

GLH does not have a specific supply list for students. Bring the basics such as binders, pens, pencils, paper, a backpack and a calculator (scientific if possible). A lock can be brought in or one can be provided for lockers. We look forward to seeing you in September!

Mountain View School Division invites you to a Town Hall meeting via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7 with Superintendent Dan Ward to review school re-opening plans. The evening will start with a short presentation followed by a Question and Answer session. You do not need to pre-register. Aug. 24, 2021: In considering the masking recommendations advanced by Public Health, the Division has made the decision that masks will be mandatory for all staff, students and visitors in our K-12 schools and on school buses for the commencement of the 2021-2022 school year.
