We will be having a short spirit week to kick off St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday and our Provincial Basketball Tournament March 17-20th.

Tues March 17 – Green and St. Patrick’s Day, 4-leaf clover scavenger hunt with prizes
Wed March 18 – Bring your own noise maker day (no air horns)
Thurs March 19 – GLH Tattoos and face painting to start off boys provincials
Fri March 20 – Red and Black day – Cheer on our team!

Breakfast program runs from 8:25-8:55 every Wednesday and Friday morning. Come down to the canteen and enjoy a nutritious breakfast.

The MVSD Board of Trustees is hitting the road! Over the course of the next year and a half, the Board and Senior Administration will be visiting all seven of our communities. Each visit will coincide with a scheduled Regular Board Meeting. A school-based Celebration of Learning will also take place. The first visit will take place in Roblin on Monday, Mar. 9th at Roblin Elementary School. For details, click on the above link!

Congratulations to Emily Gudbjartson, who has been nominated by the MVSD Board of Trustees to be considered for the 2020 Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Student Citizenship Award. Emily was one of five students in MVSD who submitted applications for nomination, and we are proud to acknowledge these students' contributions to their communities and schools. Roblin Elementary School will be hosting a family evening of food and entertainment, featuring world renowned author David Bouchard on Tuesday, February 18th from 5:30-7:30. Dinner will be provided to all who attend. Everyone is welcome and please see below for more details.

The Board of Trustees would like to officially recognize the dedication and commitment of all its employees to the students of Mountain View School Division by declaring the week of February 10 to 14, 2020, inclusive, as Staff Appreciation Week throughout the various work places in the division.
